Alec Korchev

Alec joined Clarke Saunders Associates in 2020. Prior to joining CSA, Alec worked in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment where he gained experience in both environmental and building acoustics in the public and private sectors.

He has experience in transportation and infrastructure development, residential, industrial/commercial, leisure, and education projects.

Alec began a Ph.D research project ‘Wind-Induced Creaking in Tall Buildings’ in 2022, which examines the secondary noise and vibration effects experienced in tall buildings under high-wind conditions. The project is supported by the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) and CSA.

Alec chairs the ANC Future Acousticians Committee, sits on the IOA Early Careers Group Committee, and is a STEM ambassador.
